Although this puzzle will no doubt prove to be a challenging exercise for most solvers south of the border, I encourage you to savour it as it will be your last opportunity to do so.The National Post has discontinued publishing cryptic crossword puzzles—both the weekend Cox and Rathvon puzzle as well as the weekday Daily Telegraph Cryptic Crossword. Thus this is the last time I will be posting a blog entry in this series. I will continue to write a weekly post on the Daily Telegraph Cryptic Crossword but it will now deal with the puzzle when it is published in the Daily Telegraph rather than when it appears in syndication sometime later.I hope you have enjoyed this blog and wish you well in your cruciverbal initiatives.Your comments—whether they be with regard to the puzzle or the blog—are always welcome.
