One is going to be in a seated dead settler’s chest, while the other, should be near the same settler on the ground. However, some players have also found pickaxes dropped by the Scorched enemy type. This could be a good spot to farm for the weapon. How to use the pickaxe You may be thinking that this tool is a tool. But, like most other items found in Fallout 76, it’s modified to be used as a weapon. However, I would not recommend using this weapon as much. It’s slow-moving and two-handed. So, if you’re planning on fighting enemies like the Radtoad, I would say only use the pickaxe unless you need to.Â
