We talk about this a lot, but slots truly encompass a wide variety of themes. Some are popular, others more so; but our favorite are niche themes such as vampires.
In case you consider yourself an avid fan of blood-sucking creatures and supernatural elements, you’re in luck! Here’s a list of our top 7 vampire-themed online slots you must be dying to try out.
Vampire Slots: Overview
Before we dive into our slots in full detail, here’s a list of all the games we have on the list.
Let’s begin.
Immortal Romance by Games Global
We are starting off with the most famous vampire slot of all time – Immortal Romance. Originally launched in 2012, it’s a quintessential vampire slot you just have to check out. However, there’s this thing of it having several variations so be careful which version you choose. There’s also an Immortal Romance 2 slot, as well as Immortal Romance Scratchcard and Bingo.
The original slot is a suspenseful video slot with 5 reels and 243 ways to win. Payouts are not too crazy, but that’s just how things were back in the day. The Remastered version comes with 6 reels and 3 rows. It has the same number of winning ways. The reason why we consider the debut superior is because the debut has a less volatile math model and better payouts. However, some fans argue the differences are not easy to discern, so – you decide. The most iconic part of the game is the Free Spins feature which offers four special features named after the four main characters.
Blood Suckers by NetEnt
Like we said, we are starting our list in grand style, as we have another iconic game to add to the list. Blood Suckers by NetEnt is as iconic as vampire slots can get. It’s a 5-reel wonder with 25 paylines and an insane RTP rate of 97.99% (although NetEnt lists it as 98%). It also has low volatility, which means it’s a paradise for casual players. The game came out in 2013, so it’s a bit outdated, but that only adds to the charm.
If you fancy something newer, you can check out Blood Suckers 2, which came out in 2017. We said ‘newer’ because 2017 is also far away considering how many games come out in a single year. However, Blood Suckers 2 did not catch as much attention as the first one (probably because it is less rewarding than the first one with a 96.94% RTP).
Blood Suckers gives you a chance to win up to 1,014x the stake on a 5×3 grid with 25 paylines. Some of the main features include Wilds and Free Spins. There’s also a Vampire Slaying Bonus.
The Vampires by Endorphina
Endorphina slots have a reputation of being slightly generic in nature, but that’s because they mostly feature the same roster of features. However, one thing they excel at is the choice of themes. Endorphina slots cover a variety of themes, from classic Vegas-style games to festivals such as Oktoberfest (Golden Brew).
The Vampires is a game they clearly loved so much they quickly made a sequel. Which is great if you decide to give The Vampires a go and then want something similar but still different.
In The Vampires, you are meeting a coven of vampires set in a gothic mansion decorated with various bizarre ornaments. Features include Free Games, Wilds, and Scatters. You also have Multipliers and a Bonus game. Of course, it wouldn’t be an Endorphina slot without an accompanying Risk Game, a staple of the studio’s content.
The Vampires starts with 5 reels, 3 rows, and a 96.07x RTP. The Necropolis Bonus game can be unlocked with Bonus Pop, which is a Buy Bonus feature. This might not be available in every market, but it’s worth checking it out.
Wild Blood by Play’n GO
Wild Blood is a vampire themed slot from 2014. Again, like Blood Suckers and Immortal Romance, it’s one of the more popular games at Play’n GO so it quickly got a sequel. Wild Blood II came out in 2020.
The choice between the two depends on your playing preferences. The debut boasts a 5-reel matrix with 15 paylines, while the sequel comes with the whopping 4096 ways to win. Truthfully, Play’n GO is a master of dark and gloomy slots, so there’s never a shortage of spooky games at Play’n GO casinos. Our personal faves are dark slots that also moonlight as music slots such as House of Doom and Alice Cooper and the Tome of Madness.
Now, as for Wild Blood, the game is a staple of its time, so the visuals might not match the updated and modern looks of the new games sport. However, it’s surprisingly good-looking.
Game features include Respins, Wilds, and a Bonus game which is Pick & Click bonus. Of course, there are also Free Spins, but no Buy Bonus (as expected). The RTP for this release is 96.17%.
Vampire Riches DoubleMax by Yggdrasil
And we’re out of the 2010s and firmly in the 2020s with Vampire Riches DoubleMax. In one of our previous articles, we spoke about Yggdrasil and their slot mechanics. Besides Neon Villains, Vampire Riches is one of the peak examples of DoubleMax, which is a very fun game mechanic allowing for amazing Multipliers.
Vampire Riches came out in 2023, and October 12th is the anniversary of its release. Just in time for spook season, right?
What’s so great about the game is the payout potential of 25,000x. This is not a game for casual players because it’s also very volatile. Plus, the RTP is 96%, and this is actually now considered high because Yggdrasil started releasing games with 94% RTPs now (we still don’t understand why but OK).
The game comes equipped with Golden Bets in case you want to boost winning chances, Dropdown Wins – which is a fancy name for cascade wins – and Free Spins. The star of the show is the DoubleMax mechanic, which gives you a huge boost in terms of Multipliers. The coven featured in Vampire Riches is set in New York.
Vampire Senpai by Quickspin
Vampire Senpai might be a bit older than Vampire Riches and Vampy Party, but it came out in 2020, so it does sport some new and modern looks. It’s also a mix of Japanese and vampire lore, so it’s uniquely bloody, bone-chilling, and Asian.
It’s also perfect for high rollers as the maximum winning capacity is 8,894x the stake. The setup comes with a 5×5 grid and 40 paylines. Note how the paylines are fixed, so you don’t get the choice of how many you want active. Finally, the RTP is 96.19% and goes hand in hand with medium volatility.
Game features are a fun way to break the monotony and have some fun on the reels. You get a choice of Wilds (Talisman Wilds and Turning Wilds) and Reanimated Free Spins. And yes, they are also a great way to increase winnings, but we have to be honest: it can be a bit daunting for beginners.
Our favourite thing about Vampire Senpai is the visual aspect. The game looks crisp, well-thought out, and all-around well-made.
Vampy Party by Pragmatic Play
The last item on our list is not listed last because of quality, but simply because it’s the youngest game on the list. Therefore, it’s something we think you should work towards trying, as you cannot claim to play vampire slots without first playing the classics above.
Now that we got that out of the way, let’s dive into this fantastic Vampy Party online slot. It’s built by Pragmatic Play, which is company with perhaps one of the most prolific outputs out there (if not the most prolific).
Vampy Party tells the story of a wild, all-nighter party (because vampires sleep during the day, obviously) that stops only when you have had enough. It’s built with some quite impressive features, including a Double-up Multiplier that reminded us of the DoubleMax we talked about in Vampire Riches above.
The only thing that Vampy Party lacks is a more powerful Multiplier, as this one puts a cap on the game winnings at 5,000x. The RTP is 96%, understandable, and you get a 6×3 setup with 3,600 which is not very common out there.
Besides the Free Spins, you also get to enjoy Free Spins, along with a Feature Buy option.
